Exam is over. There’s finally time to do random things & I’ve been listening to Edith Piaf’s ‘Pink Martini’ for the millionth time, it makes me happy. Speaking of that, I’m craving for Lychee Martini. I heart Edith Piaf & Coco Chanel, they have somewhat similar fate, both are French legendary icons who lost their only true love to accidents & they’re beyond amazing. I strongly recommend ‘La Vie En Rose’, a film about the life of Edith Piaf although it’s mostly tragic.

P.S. Schedule ahead. Working till the end of Nov. Packing on 1-2 Dec, flying back on the 3rd, attend the pre-placement briefing on the 4th, meet-up with friends on the 5th, attend memorial on the 6th & start working on the 7th. Oh yea… I’m already worn out. Spending my post-exam weekends in The Moon & Brisbane bar. Cannot wait.

My mind already wanders to post-exams … not a good sign since exam is in 3 days & I can’t focus because I’m overwhelmed by everything – holiday plans, internship, returning home, graduation and the list goes on. Instead of studying, I’m blogging and making my 2010 birthday plan in Bali. Here are some pictures that I heart … taken from this wonderful site, from my friend Jonathan and from myself. The simplicity of black & white speaks for itself. Timeless.

P.S. Sometimes life is more beautiful in Black & White.

WooHoo! I got an internship in Singapore through CPA Australia. I actually did not put much hope on getting any since it was opened to the whole of Australia and honestly, Murdoch Uni is not amongst the cream of the crop. Plus, there are so many applicants, so limited placements. I’m really lucky to get into Grant Thornton. After Hwee Ping learned about my placement, she asked her friends with senior positions in the company to put me under their care & supervision. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you Hwee Ping! I’m so bless.
Quote of the day
P.S. I’m going back to Singapore on the 3rd of dec. Part of me is super excited, part of me will really miss Jesper. Hope 2.5 months will pass quickly.

P.S. Counting down. I am excited about graduation, post-graduation and Sweden. XOXO

The weekends are really killing me. Work, concert, work, work. After I came back from work on Sunday night, i slept at 3am and got up at 5.30am, back to work again. Like a walking zombie.
This week schedule: Sun-work, Mon-work, Tues/Wed- study, Thurs- Murdoch Farewell Ceremony, Fri-work, Sat- 5 hours studio in the city (but I want to cancel it). Bleh. Can’t wait for exams to be over. As for uni, I see myself improving on the second half of the semester and I actually manage to study today. DWFD strikes again … I don’t know what to say to him.

P.S. Turned down 3 drinking sessions in the city. I will feeling guilty if I go especially when there is less than 10 days to my final exam … but going to work is alright.

I got a feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good night
that tonight’s gonna be a good good night ooh hoo
See ya tonight, Britney!

P.S. I juz came across today’s Fox News that Britney Spears is actually lip-syncing during her down under tour here & causing quite a commotion that Australian government is apparently now considering enforcing new measures that would involve artists notifying fans on their tickets if they intend to lip-sync. Imagine those who paid $1500 tickets to see her lip-sync …

Just tried Dreamy Donuts in Garden City, we thought it will be as good as Krispy Kreme but not quite. The chocolate Dreamy Donuts tastes like Coles’ donuts except it is 11 times more expensive. I heart Krispy Kreme and resent the fact that they don’t have a store in Perth. why …
Finally brought ‘Ratty’ home yesterday & spotted Ratty look-alike in ZU & Country Road. Busy weekends ahead, working from fri to next mon straight, except on sat which is reserved for Britney Spear’s concert. Can’t wait.
Random, I find this funny … A father in Sweden tries to sue a wild sea eagle after it attacked and killed his little girl’s pet rabbit. In a way, the father is really sweet but how to sue an eagle ?
Ahhh ’Kreepy’ Kreme !

Here’s my new sandal, Ratty. Surprisingly comfortable.

P.S. Dyeing my hair black … again.

I would never have thought of wearing a maxi dress because I always thought they are made for tall people until Jesper says otherwise. As I look around, there are many people around my height, wearing maxi dress. I bought my first maxi dress from Sportsgirl … ♥ at first sight. Sooo comfortable, so flare & so breezy. Sportsgirl has replaced Forever New as my fav aussie label, mainly because they have XXS. Anyway, just checked out Sportsgirl website, the name of this dress is Ku De Ta & the denim jacket I wore to Araluen is known as ’80s Chambray Bomber. I adore weird & fancy names.
I am cutting down on my work to once a week since exam is exactly 15 days away & that implies less shopping with lesser income. Note to self: No shopping for the rest of this month except for Ratty which shall be the last shoe of the year. I really have to start studying NOW.
To uni. ♥ Sportsgirl top, dress & bag

P.S. I had chwee kueh (steamed rice cake) for breakfast today. Random : Dilmah launch a new range of tea with interesting flavors such as ’Maharajah Reserve Assam’, ‘Arabian Mint Tea with Honey’ … tried the ‘Peppermint & English Toffee’ & it’s really good.

Grattis Jesper! I’m so bad at giving surprises because Jesper can see right through it. He knows me too well. In the end, I still manage to surprise him with …
A huge choklad ‘Queen Silvia’ cake on thursday;
Created 2 short movies for Jesper & played them at midnight;
Hidden present in closet;
Charlene, Ally, Mabel, Saadiah, Jason came over at midnight and surprised him!
We then catch the movie ‘The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus’ in the day and headed to Brian’s farewell party at night. He’s returning back to Ireland. Jesper said the party felt like ‘home’ when he was with his friends in Sweden. It was cosy & people were nice. Jesper was really funny last night and I’m not suppose to say why here but I’m so glad he had a wonderful time.

I sent my camera for repair in the city & it costs me 100 bucks :S It’s expensive but at least cheaper than the other shop. Probably wiser to get a new one but I really want to keep this camera, no regrets.
And guess what makes my day even happier… The sandals (Ratty) I wanted is going to be specially delivered to the city from Midlands. Good service. It’s the new collection and according to the staff it has sold out even before the stocks arrive as people pre-ordered it. I can get it in two days. Smiles!
One party down. Two more parties coming up this sat but I’m most likely going to Brian’s farewell instead of Halloween. And besides, I have a special plan for the day. Next sat, Britney Spears’ concert, cannot wait! And the following week, Murdoch farewell party… the week before my exam. Busy!
The best part is I can use my $25 voucher on it.

P.S. My left arm is still sore from yesterday immunization. My passport has arrived in Canberra. Yay!
